Ouachita to begin construction on track & field complex
October 30, 2023Ouachita Baptist University will begin construction on an NCAA-compliant track & field complex to serve as a home venue for its thriving cross country and track & 现场团队. Scheduled to be completed by Summer 2024, the complex will occupy land on the north side of campus adjacent to the cross country course and along the Ouachita River.

Seth McDowell remembered for authenticity, kindness, inclusivity
August 04, 2023Seth McDowell, 22, of Benton, Ark., died July 30. A graduate of Bauxite High School, McDowell was working toward an English and secondary education double major at Ouachita Baptist University and was a 4-year member of the Tiger football team. His authenticity, sense of humor and genuine interest in others made an indelible impact on those who knew him.
